Welcome to Rolling Thunder Kennels
We are a small family run kennel that has owned and hunted with German Wirehaired and German Shorthaired pointers for nearly 20 years.  All of our focus now has gone toward the German Shorthaired Pointer breed.  We currently own three and absolutely love their field abilities, personality, and temperaments. We hunt and campaign our dogs in AKC and a few American Field Trials.

We are located 45 minutes northwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Within a short drive of some superb training grounds, grouse woods, and within a few hours drive of the Western Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota for hunting of pheasants and sharptailed grouse.
